“So what are illnesses, unhappiness, poverty and loneliness? Can it be attitudes? If this is so, we can renew ourselves by changing our attitudes within a moment of thought. We are building cells for ourselves every second, however these cells can only exist under our rules. If sickness is allowed by our rules, then thought is the tool to correct it. Our attitude to our body creates its health or illness. Our cells live as we tell them, either by spoken word or thoughts. Both these – words and thoughts, create our attitude.“

Health Tip
EATING FRUIT…
IT’S IMPORTANT TO KNOW HOW AND WHEN TO EAT FRUIT.
FRUITS SHOULD BE EATEN ON AN EMPTY STOMACH.
DO NOT EAT FRUIT AFTER YOUR MEALS – EAT IT BEFORE MEALS OR ON ITS OWN AS A SNACK.
Let’s say, for example, you eat two slices of bread and then some fruit.
The slice of fruit is ready to go straight through the stomach into the intestines, but it is
prevented from doing so by the bread that takes longer to digest.
Eating fruit with other food means the whole meal rots and ferments and turns to acid the minute the fruit comes into contact with the other food and digestive juices in the stomach. Then, the entire mass of food begins to spoil….
mixing with the other food and putrefying. Eating fruit this way produces gas and hence you will bloat!
Eat fruit on its own on an empty stomach or before your meals and it will play a major role to detoxify your system, supplying you with a great deal of energy for weight loss and other life activities.
Greying hair, balding, and dark circles under the eyes … will NOT happen if you take fruits on an empty stomach!

Neutral Bay Monday Nights
Monday nights are a wonderful powerful opportunity for all of us to unwind, recharge, relax and rejuvenate. Come and feed your soul through restful meditation and be inspired by our gifted speakers.
The Academy meets every Monday night (except public holidays) at St John’s Uniting Church Hall, cnr of Yeo Street and Barry Street, Neutral Bay. Enter off Barry Street. Session starts 7:30pm. Entry Fee: $15, concession available.

It was the most amazing two weekends. Following is a testimonial.

An amateur DVD was made at the last ‘Bathed in Sound’ in which the picture was not clear but the singing is beautiful!

We here at Southern Cross Academy of Light are supporting Sky Shayne Innes and her book, Love’s Alchemy – and invite you to do the same. As many of you will know, Sky has been a regular speaker and contributor with us over the years
