Previous Event : Family Constellations : How to Heal Intergenerational Trauma with Paulien Gort
On September 12th AOL President Paulien Gort led an informative as well as practical session on Family and Systemic Constellations. This modality originated in Germany and from there took over the world because of the fast results in releasing intergenerational trauma and resolving of repeating patterns in people’s lives. Paulien trained in this modality in the Netherlands and brought her talents back to Australia where more and more people are starting to know about and work with this modality. Family Constellations looks at the bigger picture of the energetic balance and the Flow of Love within the family and where this became disrupted. Events like the early death of a child, divorce, addictions, abuse, war, family secrets, etc. can be the cause for an energetic entanglement. We can carry a burden for someone else in the family without realising it. A constellation can resolve issues by showing you what the hidden family dynamics are, and how they are connected to events that happened in your family of origin and the generations before them.
When doing a constellation the focus is on an issue that you may wish to resolve. The client chooses representatives for family members and places them in the room. The representatives will feel and act like the family members. This will show where this issue originated, who is involved in it. By ‘acknowledging what is’, shifting people’s position, we can resolve the issue. When we resolve an issue for ourselves the effect can ripple out to our whole family.
The benefits are improved relationships, feeling balanced, in harmony, and freed from invisible burdens, having more understanding and insight in our family history.
On the night we did a Systemic Constellation about the Academy of Light.
Systemic Constellations can be used with business or work related problems, physical symptoms, lack of abundance, etc.
We all had a role in this constellation which helped us understand how a session might work. We each chose a role …well actually the universe chose it for us. The constellation looked at various aspects of the Academy of Light and how those aspects feel and what they need. During this constellation we individually noticed the shifts in energy as the various aspects spoke and listened to each other.
Paulien runs regular Constellation workshops and does private sessions as well.

Previous Event : Conversations about death with Carmel Vowles.
On Aug 22nd we gathered in an intimate and safe setting to discuss a topic that is often very difficult for humans to broach: Death and near death experiences. The speaker was AOL committee member Carmel Vowles. For many years now Carmel has worked in this very delicate area as a funeral celebrant as well as having immersed herself in this area that she is passionate about through midwife death courses, death festivals and many other workshops and seminars.
Carmel spoke to us about the 5 stages of dying and the afterlife. Death is indeed part of life and helps to give our life meaning. It allows us to focus on what is important and transform the way we live. The conscious awareness of death motivates us to live more vibrant lives.
She encouraged us to make decisions about our own deaths and involve those close to death to have control over their choices and to have meaningful conversations whilst we can.
Carmel led us into a discussion on NDEs and how many that have experienced this come back changed profoundly and become more joyful in life and seek more meaning. We should not fear death because in actuality there is only LOVE and the cycle of life will continue for our souls.

Value what is important
Enjoy the time you have
Remember that we will die and this is the secret to a well lived life.

Monday 10th October 2022 – Higher Selves, Splinters & Walk-Ins in These Shifting Times with Takeli
Takeli MMagdalen is a Medium for Archangel Metatron. She has worked with numerous Guides, often from the Angelic Realms, also others from many different Realms over the 18 years she has been a Messenger for them.
Tonight, Takeli will speak to you from her current stopover in Broome, WA, about navigating these unprecedented times, as we all prepare to move ourselves into a higher state of Love, and to be living a higher frequency experience. Known as the time of the Great Shift in Consciousness, this is also a time when we are integrating more of our own energies, in the form of downloads and adjustments made by the Higher Self, as it deems us ready for them.
As well, many of us came in with bits of Light frequency known as Splinters from other Beings, which are being activated now; as well as continuing to be offered to us as we move through our Spiritual paths.
The most powerful form of this is to receive a major realignment or Walk-In from either our Higher Self, or by agreement and more rarely, usually from another member of our Soul Family.

The Two Wolves
An old Cherokee is teaching his grandson about life. “A fight is going on inside me,” he said to the boy.
“It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves. One is evil – he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.” He continued, “The other is good – he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith. The same fight is going on inside you – and inside every other person, too.”
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, “Which wolf will win?”
The old Cherokee simply replied, “The one you feed.”
