Teaching
A lecturer, when explaining stress management to an audience,
Raised a glass of water and asked;
‘How heavy is this glass of water?’
Answers called out ranged from 20g to 500g.
The lecturer replied, ‘The absolute weight doesn’t matter.
It depends on how long you try to hold it.
If I hold it for a minute, that’s not a problem.
If I hold it for an hour, I’ll have an ache in my right arm.
If I hold it for a day, you’ll have to call an ambulance.
In each case, it’s the same weight, but the longer I hold it, the heavier it becomes.’
He continued,
‘And that’s the way it is with stress management.
If we carry our burdens all the time, sooner or later,
As the burden becomes increasingly heavy,
We won’t be able to carry on.
‘As with the glass of water,
You have to put it down for a while and rest before holding it again.
When we’re refreshed, we can carry on with the burden.
‘So, before you return home tonight, put the burden of work or whatever is bothering you down. Don’t carry it home. You can pick it up tomorrow.
Whatever burdens you’re carrying now,
Let them down for a moment if you can. ‘So, my friend, put down anything that may be a burden to you right now. Don’t pick it up again until after you’ve rested a while.’

Health Tip
Diabetics have an increased risk of tooth and gum disease when blood glucose levels are high.
Tooth and gum infections can also raise the risk of heart disease.
Typical signs of dental problems can include:
red, sore, swollen or bleeding gums
dry mouth and/or burning tongue
white film on gums, inside cheeks or tongue.
Ways to reduce these risks include:
regular dental check-ups
chewing sugarless gum to help boost saliva production.

Neutral Bay Monday Nights
MEDITATION AND INSPIRATIONAL TALKS
Monday nights are a wonderful powerful opportunity for all of us to unwind, recharge, relax and rejuvenate. Come and feed your soul through restful meditation and be inspired by our gifted speakers.
The Academy meets every Monday night (except public holidays) at St John’s Uniting Church Hall, cnr of Yeo Street and Barry Street, Neutral Bay. Enter off Barry Street. Session starts 7:30pm. Entry Fee: $15, concession available.
Light refreshments are served.
People are loving the freshly picked Lavender bouquets from Jacaranda Haven which John and Rosemary are bringing on Monday Nights. The bouquets are being sold for a coin and so now the kitty is nearly $50 towards buying Lavender plants for the Labyrinth. It is exciting to plan it.

THE MONASTERY GOES COSMIC
with Noelene Kelly
Noelene had a rich life in the Ursuline Order for 30 years. As she grew spiritually, she found the walls could no longer contain her. The mystical essence of what those walls held still inspires her and now Spirit has guided her to take this essence out into the world.
This way, the monastery can expand into one without walls, into a Temple of Light on earth…. the garden is no longer enclosed but is available to all. Come and hear her wonderful story and be enriched by what she understands by the ‘monastery goes cosmic’.

When we asked her where does the information come from, Elaine said when she asked this question herself, she was told it came from the 8th dimension. Where ever it comes from it works. It is so simple really, we have trillions and trillions of cells and when our thoughts chat away to us all day, they listen and take on our emotions and fears. But Elaine’s work tells you how to release these patterns from the cells in our body bringing the body back to balance and good health. She saved the lives of her children with this work.

Elaine Croker
Did you know that Elaine grew up in the country on a farm and had no schooling until she was 11 years old? Did you know that Elaine had to muscle test each letter of each word of each book because she didn’t know how to spell? Not only that, the manuals she channeled for Prime Tuning of Cells have words like Hypothalamus, Pituitary and Pineal glands she didn’t know what they meant at that time. It wasn’t until I read her story in The Discovery of Me that I began to understand the enormity of what she has brought through to us. No wonder I exclaimed when I understood what Prime Tuning of Cells was all about. ‘This is God’s Gift to us’.
