UNIVERSAL AWARENESS
An eight-week on-going course in Consciousness

Rosemary Butterworth
In this course, you will find increased awareness. You will become more aware on a day-to-day basis, more centred and more connected. You will find this connection becomes a natural phenomenon not just a special moment happening. It takes you out of your ego your personal “I”, enabling you to be aware, moment by moment of the ‘whole’.
This leads you easily to a more joyous and fulfilled life.
The course starts Wednesday, 4th August until 22nd September from 7pm – 8.30pm at Crows Nest Community Centre

Health Tip
ALOE VERA
For external use, aloe contains a wound hormone that accelerates the rate of healing for injured and burned surfaces.
The enzymatic activity of aloe reportedly reduces or eliminates scars.
Use – if you have a decorative aloe plant in your home, for external use, snip a piece of leaf, split it open and dab the gel on burns,
irritated skin or wounds. For a beverage, scrape off two tablespoons of gel from a split leaf, stir into a glass of water or juice and drink,
or follow your health care practitioner’s recommendation.

Neutral Bay Monday Nights
MEDITATION AND INSPIRATIONAL TALKS
Monday nights are a wonderful powerful opportunity for all of us to unwind, recharge, relax and rejuvenate. Come and feed your soul through restful meditation and be inspired by our gifted speakers.
The Academy meets every Monday night (except public holidays) at St John’s Uniting Church Hall, cnr of Yeo Street and Barry Street, Neutral Bay. Enter off Barry Street. Session starts 7:30pm. Entry Fee: $15, concession available.

CARLOS PALADA
Carlos is Spanish and grew up in South America. A civil engineer and developer, he was influenced by his roots – the spirit of the Mayan culture.
He emigrated to Australia in 1988, where he obtained his Masters degree in project management. In 1994, following life-threatening surgery,
Carlos had a Transformational experience which opened his psychic, clairvoyant and healing gifts.

The Elaine Croker Prime Tuning of Cells recent weekend at Jacaranda Haven was a huge success. Many of the participants are now looking forward to Level 2 in Sydney.
However another Level 1 course at Jacaranda Haven is coming up.

Where: Jacaranda Haven Spiritual Retreat – three hours drive from Sydney. There is limited accommmodation at the retreat, but there is plenty available in the town.

CLOTHES DRIVE
Despina Nikolakakos is organising a Winter clothing drive to support an agency called Clothesline Incorporated. She is collecting blankets, socks, bath towels, winter clothes (for men, women and kids). Toiletries: toothbrushes, toothpaste, unopened shampoo/conditioner, soap etc.
Any donations can be brought to the Academy meeting for collection on Monday 26th July. Please place them in bags, no boxes.
Clothes Line Inc (www.clothesline.org.au) is a fully endorsed Sydney based, not-for profit organisation, which provides good quality clothing and other essential items to the homeless and disadvantaged. The goods are given directly to the needy, not resold.
