FYI – DID YOU KNOW?
A concrete labyrinth, just under 13 metres in diameter, has been built in the garden of the Children’s Hospital at Westmead. The labyrinth, just like the one in Chatres Cathedral helps patients overcome their anxieties and worries about their diagnosis or treatment, the paediatric oncologist who led the project, Michael Stevens, said. More than 200 hospitals in the US have labyrinth in their grounds but this is the first one in an Australian hospital.
Emily Simpson has had council approval to build one for the public in Centennial Park. Now she is busy fund-raising for the project.

My Thriving Tip this week is all about what to do when you feel your immune system is low, you have a sore throat, a cold or the flu is coming on.
Strep Throat – Testimonial.
I had a strep throat for approximately 5 days for which I was gargling Olive Leaf extract and Betadine 3 times daily, I was also gargling Aspalgin and swallowing it for pain relief. To combat the pain I was taking 4 hourly Neurofin and Panadol. On top of all the pain relief I was also taking Penicillin for the infection. My throat still felt like it had razor blades in it. I went to my hairdresser Naomi and she put 2-3 drops of Thieves in the back of my throat and that was it, I had a cup a tea, no more pain and went to a music festival that night. Used RC successfully on respiratory problem
I have had an increase since 1996 in bronchial infections. Four times a year the doctor prescribed ‘Cipro’ as the antibiotic for this problem. 2003 I was introduced to essential oils and ordered ‘RC’ for this problem. Gosh what a good night we had last Monday Night. Not to worry if you missed it because we will be inviting Greg back to speak probably end of September but we will let you know.
Greg and the wonderful, colourful, Anjel OBryant clearly demonstrated just how many essential oils Young Living has that can not only assist us with everyday problems and illnesses but also clear pain. Anjel came around with the oils for us to try and both John and myself rubbed Lavender on the palms of our hands. Both of us slept like babies, very deeply and soundly. We woke up refreshed and ready for the day. He spoke of Wintergreen that helps bones as well as many others and their benefits. It was good, sound, beneficial knowledge.
He also spoke about radiation coming from Japan and will look up the oils that will aid protection for us. He spoke about the petrochemicals our bodies are being saturated with. We have forgotten about all the humble looking plastic containers we have in the fridge that could potentially be a health hazard because the plastics can leak chemicals into the food. What did we do before Glad Wrap came along?
Anyway do come along and hear Greg speak when he comes back. He is a fountain of information. The Academy is fortunate to know people like him who can keep us informed.

Avinash Do spent many years searching for meaning in his life, including 4 years travelling and working as a volunteer with Amma, the hugging saint.Amma gave him the name Avinash, which means “indestructible”.In 2009, Avinash experienced awakening or enligtenment – the state of no more suffering. It became clear to him that this state can be experienced by any who wish for it, through living an ordinary life – a person does not need to live in a monastery or go on a pilgrimage. He now teaches how to use everyday events as tools for our own growth and happy living. Avinash leads weekly classes in Glebe, Padstow, Bondi and Forestville.

CAN MY SPIRITUAL JOURNEY CAN HELP YOU?

My name is Michelle Bowen. I am a Medical Intuitive, Kinesiologist, Reiki Master, ThetaHealing Master and teacher. I also work as a Psychic among other things. I am delighted to have been invited to speak at the Academy.
My journey – I was born with profound abilities into a family with psychic and healing ability and could see into the body as a child.. My life has led me gown many paths and through many experiences, both positive and the negative including violence, abuse, divorce, loss of children and loved ones, illness including fybromyalgia, pluerisy, pnuemonia, anxiety, depression, OCD, dyslexia, loved ones with serious drug issues and personality disorders and personally, several serious injuries. Also twice losing my home to fire. I have raised five intuitive children alone and now have four grandchildren.
I have learned how to overcome and heal these things in my life and others.
Each soul chooses when to be born, the parents it will have, the experiences it will draw in each life and the planets it will be born under. Anyone whom is on the this planet in this lifetime came in to resolve enormous things. Some will meet the challenge…some will not. Are you equipped? Would you like to be able to clear and resolve issues and move forward without them? Live without the residue constantly coming in to overwhelm you?
I have come to realise that in this lifetime that I came to learn by way of experience to understand the things I was to resolve on a ancestral and history level, soul contracts, past life issues including those in religion and as a healer. Also many issues which blocked me from having lasting relationships and a release from abusive cycles. I also chose to come in and resolve these for my entire genetic line..
I have looked at many different modalities of healing. My psychic ability and a clear connection with Universal collective has always guided me. I have gradually drawn on my strength, learned how to utilise it, expand and refine my ability and how to best help others by what I have learned. I have developed powerful methods to assist people to clear deep issues and also how to teach them to heal and resolve issues and blocks for themselves.
I teach and heal from a place of experience, with love, compassion, and a true sense that anything is resolvable.
I am looking forward to meeting you all, speaking and assisting you on the 30th July.

LABYRINTH WALK.
Join us at 6pm on Sunday, 5th August at the Mosman Art Gallery, to walk a canvas replica of the medieval Chartres labyrinth.
