F.Y.I. – It is not always what it seems.
There are so many situations that we could buy into at the moment – the world financial crisis, riots in London our carbon tax just to name a few. If we do that we will feed the situation and make it worse because it spreads the fear.
So what is the best thing to do? Observe the situation, observe how it makes you feel and BREATHE. This process will allow you to be detached and able to think rationally/intelligently.
Remember you are always cared for. Remember how people came together in times of crisis in the Brisbane floods, the Japanese earthquake and tsunami etc. The Love, the bonding, help and caring for each other became the priority. It was back to basics. Everybody’s fundamental goodness came to the fore. These situations give you a chance to rebuild and reshape. Like the phoenix rising out of the ashes we are given a second chance.
This is indeed a gift of Love.

Health tip
Snoring
Here’s a funny story that was sent through the Young Living Essential Oil Network.
Shaun writes: The oils work sometimes in amusing ways. On a recent meditation retreat, I was put in a dorm with a number of different people. After lights out the person in the next bunk began to snore. But not just snore, he really let rip!! With his head facing just a few meters from me, he continued to snore (so heavily) into the wee hours of the morning. Now as with most meditation groups, this retreat also demanded meditation to start before dawn. I had not slept a wink and was starting to panic. I decided to put Palo Santo onto my third eye in effort to relax me. The loud snorer next to me suddenly stopped snoring and awoke. Within a few minutes I went to sleep. The next morning I decided I would need to book out of the room if I wanted to sleep over the next week and went to the snorer to advise him of my plight. To my surprise he said “no need! I am moving out of this room right now!” “Why?” I enquired. “Because your oil smells! It keeps me awake!” He promptly stormed out of the dorm.So the magic of the oils works again, if not in a most unusual way. (lol)
Artemis adds: If I was snoring, I’d be using a drop of RC oil under my nose, and a drop of Thyme oil under my big toes. These are the 2 regimes that I’ve heard the most positive results from with snorers.

In and Around The Academy

You are never alone. There is always someone at the end of the phone.
I am finding more and more people are in stressful situations. To change the situation you need to contact someone whose energy is higher than yours at that time. This is what we mean when we say “keep good company”. Ask yourself, can this person shed light on my situation. The light will bring you out of the dark and raise your energy and you will not only feel better but will see the way clear once again. The solution to a situation can never be found in the energy that created it.
You might remember that on the 22nd June I mentioned the Archangels that came to visit (from an email that was going around in which you were required to have them for 5 days and then send them onto 3 people). Since then people have shared with us many amazing stories of the miracles that have taken place during their visit. For instance, one girl who was studying music for her HSC and went to a concert with her Mother to hear Chopin being played. During the concert she said to her Mother if the Archangels were real she wanted a sign. At the end of the concert during the applause the pianist suddenly stopped and said “Wait a minute I would like to play one more piece”. It was the very piece that the student had to play for her HSC! Proof given!

The Power and Force of the Light – Narelle Green and Rosemary Butterworth
It is now appreciated that the power of Light can be equated to the force of electricity or even greater. Tonight Narelle & Rosemary will demonstrate how to use light to solve or transform situations. Three people from the audience will be invited to share their current difficulty and Narelle will explain how to use a particular colour spray that will assist them. She will explain how and why it works. So bring your worries along whether they be financial, career or relationship. Everyone will benefit from your sharing as we are all experiencing the same concerns at the moment.

My Journey Into Alchemy – Monica Erosa
My work as a graphic designer helped me find the skill of telling a history in a single image. My spiritual knowledge have been constantly evolving since 1988 through studies of most eastern philosophies, workshops, meditation, hypnosis, reading hundreds of new age inspirational and self-development books, and of course, workshops. Simultaneously, I started to study archetypes and the influence of those in the unconscious mind, represented by ancient symbolism, sacred geometry and merkaba I selected the symbols with the attributes that I needed to incorporate in to my life experience at a particular time. And I found that in that way I was actually co-creating my new reality, “Alchemy”.
My images come from both deliberate mind as a way of graphically express a new state of awareness, as well from images channelled in trance meditation.I started painting as a child and have been producing inspirational art since 2003.
