Previous Event : Sound Event with Paulien Gort

We had the opportunity once again to attend one of Paulien Gort’s Sacred Sound Events at our last Academy of Light gathering.
About 30 of us braved the Sydney rainstorms to gather for our first Sound Healing at the Academy for 2022. We surrounded Paulien with our pillows, eye covers, blankets at mats as she moved us with her voice, different gongs, crystal singing bowls, monochord, Tibetan singing bowls, shaman drum and other sounds.
Paulien led us first into a relaxation exercise where we also had the opportunity to set our intentions to release emotions, physical issues and leave something that we came in with behind us. She intuitively moved from sound to sound using her various instruments and as we lay there for about an hour and drifted within.
I have been to a number Paulien’s Sound Healing events and every time a particular instrument seems to be calling me. This time it was her voice, very powerful and yet gentle and in particular healing. At the end of the session it felt as though a seed of joy had crept back into my body and mind, a feeling that had been difficult to embody during the difficult times of 2021.
These Sacred Sound evenings are a regular event at the Academy of Light and we invite you to experience this for yourself and let your imagination wonder whilst your body is rebalanced through the frequency of sound. Join us for an evening of asking questions, lively discussions and sharing knowledge.
Many of us have lived relative isolated lives the past few years, not being able to share much time with like minded people. This evening we will give everybody the opportunity to ask questions about any topic you are interested in, share a story and receive answers from the panel and the audience. There are so many knowledgeable people in our community. We are looking forward to an uplifting evening of connection, sharing and laughter.
So far the panel consists of:
Molly Talbot Astrologer and Tarot reader who will tell us what 2022 has in store for us. She runs regular Tarot workshops and is available for readings. www.mollytalbot.com.au
Warren Mitchel, long time contributor to the AOL. Warren has a broad range of interest in spiritual exploration. He’s an universalist. He tries to encompass a wide range of expressions of the Divine Creator. He speaks several Light Languages and has presented about the Law of One and the Wingmakers at the Academy.

Receiving Specific Angel Support In My Life With Kayt Raymond

Kayt Raymond will talk with us about Angel Dimitrius, who is the Angel for Self-Worth, Self-Valuing and Self-Trust. He has a particular message for us at this time, when there is so much happening in our lives and around the world. We will do a process of connection with Angel Dimitrius to experience his quality and we can ask questions.
Kayt is a corporate with a BA and MBA. In 1996, her life was profoundly changed by meeting a group of angels and archangels. Though not an artist, she was invited to paint and write with these beings and was taught how to commune and co-create with them as colleagues and friends. She works with The Angelic Choir, a group of 77 angelics – 10 archangels and 67 angels. Angel Dimitrius is a member of this choir.
She also conducts Angel Consults in person, by phone or on Zoom. This is where a person brings their questions for the angels and has a conversation with them through her. So, when we see these paintings, our heart recognises which angel we require. Kayt will bring some of the angel pictures with her.

Price changes
During the last AGM the Committee has decided to increase the cost of the tickets. Unfortunately we had to do this to cover the hire costs of the hall at Mosman Art Gallery which has gone up in price considerably.
We don’t want anyone to miss out, in case you are experiencing financial hardship you can book a ticket under the concession rate of $10.
