We would like to wish you all a very warm welcome back to the Academy of Light for 2022. We are so excited that we will be able meet at Mosman Art Gallery once again. We hope that you have all have had a prosperous start to the new year. With all the current changes happening in the world, we hope that the Academy of Light can be a beacon of light, in a time where it can be very easy to feel anything but joyous. We are here to remind you all of your innate spiritual nature which can rise above all adversity, given the chance.

Heart Ways with Nancy Valentine Smith
Nancy Valentine Smith is a Medicine Woman, a Shaman, an Alchemist, a Healer and Sacred Technician. She comes from a lineage of Medicine men and women who were also Seers.
As a child Nancy was taught to go into the Ancient Records to read the books of knowledge of the Stars and of the Earth until she was ready to access the memory within her. We are in the Ascension process on all levels to return to the Heart Ways. We are being called to do the Great work on ourselves which is the undoing of our ego constructs. Connection, belonging is a call we have sent to ourselves as a compass to help us return homeward in, to do this our Heart must be revealed.
We are in the most incredible times in all ways.

Sacred Sound Bath with Paulien Gort
Join us for this relaxing and rejuvenating Sacred Sound Event with Paulien Gort, live in Mosman and on Zoom.
We are very happy to be able to offer this in person again in the Grand Hall. A beautiful soundscape will be created for you to float away into different realms and facilitating healing on every level. Let go of any stress and worries and just surrender to the nourishing sounds. The healing frequencies will activate the innate healing intelligence of your body bringing you into a state of peace and wellbeing.
Paulien will play Alchemy Crystal Singing Bowls, Gongs, Monochord, Shaman Drum, Tibetan Singing Bowls and more. You will hear beautiful channeled toning that will bring in powerful energetic codes to transform you.
You will feel cleansed, relaxed and rejuvenated at the end of the night.

Price changes
During the last AGM the Committee has decided to increase the cost of the tickets. Unfortunately we had to do this to cover the hire costs of the hall at Mosman Art Gallery which has gone up in price considerably.
We don’t want anyone to miss out, in case you are experiencing financial hardship you can book a ticket under the concession rate of $10.
Join the Canberra peaceful gathering for Freedom!
There is something beautiful taking place in Canberra. Many people from all walks of life are gathering for Freedom in Canberra since 31st January coming from a space of love. People from all over Australia, from Northern QLD, WA and NT have been and are driving to Canberra for this historica
They are demanding the end of all Covid mandates, open borders, informed consent for medical procedures, stepping down of corrupt politicians, and much more.
The camp will remain in place until the demands have been met.
If you possibly can come to Canberra this Saturday please do so for the Freedom of all of us and especially our kids.
FYI – What Do You Want? With Peter Whitfield
What are the things that make us happy ? It may not be what you think. Peter Whitfield explains to us about our mis-wanting. Mis-wanting is when we say to ourselves “i’ll be happy when ….” He also talks about the little voice of ‘me’ that talks to us all day long. Often if others spoke to us the way the our ‘little me’ talks to us, we would most likely be very angry with them (at the very least). He also re-tells a story often told by Shri Shantananda Saravati which explains the concept of mis-wanting.

Clearing Negativity – with Rosemary Butterworth
Rosemary Butterworth, one of the co-founders of the Academy, has put together a short mediation to help us overcome our negativity in this time of great change and a beautiful message for all the Academy readers.
Hi Everyone, it is so good to be in contact with you all once again. I hope you are all well. What I am finding is that people feel a little stuck at this time, their energy seems to be stagnant as they cannot see what the future holds at the moment. These negative feelings cause us to be disconnected from Spirit, Angels and our true Self.
For this reason I have made a very short video to help us establish reconnection. It is only just over 4 minutes long, so it can be listened to often. It will clear away negative thoughts and your energy will increase and so will your Light.
