Faery Tale from Canada

Deb Svanefelt of Courageous Questing in Ontario Canada has reignited our excitement about the Faery Realm.  She came into our awareness when she purchased Meeting Faeries from the AOL website.

Deb has had some wonderful experiences with faeries and she has shared them in her article that we have posted within our online Library.  Here’s an introduction:

I guess you could say my adventures first began when I was a child… visiting with my Danish great-uncle, who always told us the story of how, when he’d been a young boy growing up in Denmark, he’d fallen asleep one day on a mossy pillow near the edge of a forest… and had awakened to the Little People making him small, so he could go with them, right into their tree for a lovely cuppa tea…

Totally entranced, we always begged him to see the tiny, wee cup and saucer he said he’d been given by them.  But he could never find it to show us…

Or, I could say it began when my mother told us the story of having traveled on a streetcar in Toronto when she was a young girl… and having seen a faerie standing on a small, round-topped bridge in the middle of a small park in downtown Toronto.

Faery Meditation with Glastonbury Connections

This Faery guided meditation in Avalon with new age music, is inspired by my experience of living in and being enchanted by The Isle of Avalon. It is based on my personal and deeply Shamanic connection with the magic of the Faery realms. WINTER SOLSTICE AND EARTH’S PORTALS

Ocha Sheehan

This is a very important time in creation.  The 20^th June is the full moon in Sagittarius, and the next day, 21^st June is the Winter Solstice and the transition between Gemini and Cancer.  Ocha has much to pass on at this time of the full moon in Sagittarius and Winter Solstice and what this means to us.

Ocha has just returned from 3 weeks in Egypt where she was in deep ceremony in the Kings Chamber of the Great Pyramid and on the Nile, and tonight she will share with us the role of these keystone portals in the Earth’s light body system and their connection to Uluru/Kata Tujuta.  

The portals are upgrading now, (there was a 6.1 earthquake at Uluru around the 21^st May.)
She will guide us to receive from these portal upgrades in a meditational journey.  By connecting to these 2 keystone portals, you can receive all the assistance that you need to open to your Higher Self and higher bodies of light from the heavens and the Inner Earth.

Ocha is currently teaching ‘Opening to Earth’ in Sydney and other parts of Australia, as well as New York and New Zealand, and will be offering these teachings again later in the year. As a Mentor of the Divine University, she will soon announce the launch of a special series of teachings to activate and ground your higher consciousness in concert with the Earth Mother, Gaia.

I remember thinking that night that if Ocha ever offered a course or workshop then I would attend and here I am just over half way through Opening to Earth. The words from Rebecca Brown, talking about The Pillars of the New Earth,  ‘You are whole and complete‘ were compelling as was the statement which said, ‘Nothing I am going to say to you tonight is new – you know it but may it help you remember who you are‘.  To ‘climb’ to the next dimension to be that pillar of the New Earth we need to stop thinking that we still need to get somewhere, to do more work on ourselves to be enlightened when all we need to do is to realise that we all ready are.  When we let go the thoughts that we are not that keep our energy low, when we stop thinking negatively about ourselves, our energy will rise and we are able to shift dimensionally.

NOTE: A reply from last week’s Newsletter from Deb in Canada  I especially loved the reminder about avocado, one of my fave super-foods.  Though they don’t mention it, avocado is also one of the best brain-foods you can eat.  When we’re growing new neural networks, based on love rather than fear, our brains are hungry for top quality fats to use as building blocks.  And avocado is one of the best for this!

HEALTH TIP – BENEFITS OF DRINKING WATER ON AN EMPTY STOMACH

Drinking water first thing in the morning is a no brainer. If you have slept for 8 hours, the first thing your body needs is water, not food!

For many of us, we reach for food and a coffee instead of water. This is a recipe for disaster. Like sheep we all fall in order and believe that we need a pick me up in the morning and that our bellies need food. The breakfast industry has done a great job of marketing their cereals as the most important meal of the day.

The word breakfast, in itself, gives us some clues as to how to approach our first consumption of the day. Break-Fast, means, we are breaking the fast from spending 8 or so hours with no physical consumption.

Diving straight into some eggs and bacon is not the correct way to break that fast. The best thing we can do to break from this ‘dry’ fast, is to consume a large amount of water.

Most of the water in our bodies is contained in our cells and they need to stay hydrated. The very best hydration option is H20.

This means that in the morning we will do well to avoid dehydrating coffee and foods. Even fruit juice, commonly referred to as the ideal compliment to your cornflakes, is not the best way to rehydrate yourself.

Whether freshly squeezed or from a carton, fruit juices are to be avoided as they do not contain any fibre and thus are a concentrated version of the original fruits.

In essence we just hit ourselves with a sugar overload which will increase our acidity. Over time, if we continuously consume concentrated fruit sugar without the fibre, we will suffer from the many acidic diseases which are so common today.

So the best thing we can do is start the day with plain old aqua. Maybe add a little squeeze of lemon juice to add some zest and flavour.
