We are very excited that we will start coming together again regularly on our Monday nights. We will start with a beautiful relaxing Sacred Sound night.
In case you missed our last newsletter I just want to update you on a few changes at the Academy.

Debbie Shulz and I will be hosting The Academy of Light meetings on the second and fourth Monday of the month. We would like to put out a call for anyone who would like to help us to host the events,whether it is supporting us during the night, with setting up the space, or leading a meditation. Or maybe you’d like to help out in finding interesting speakers. A few people have contacted us already to be a speaker so I’m sure we will have interesting and nourishing events for you.

We really like to keep going because over the years such a wonderful community has emerged and Debbie and I would love to continue to bring you all such joy! The Monday nights are always uplifting and interesting with lots of new knowledge to be discovered. So I’m calling out to you beautiful community to have a think about getting involved in the AOL in whatever way you would like. You will hear Alchemy Crystal Bowls, Shaman Drum, Tibetan Singing Bowls, Monochord, with beautiful channeled sounds that will bring in powerful energetic codes to transform you. A large part will be a GONG Bath combining the Paiste gongs from Sharon and Paulien.
Together we will create a beautiful soundscape for you making you float away into different realms and facilitating healing on every level. The cells of your body will be saturated with healing frequencies and will activate the innate healing intelligence of your body helping you into a state of wellbeing.

FYI – Happiness Lessons

The education system has undergone quite some changes the past hunderd years. The focus however, still lies on standardized testing and acquiring knowledge on regular subjects such as maths and biology. It is becoming more and more apparant that this knowledge alone isn’t enough to prepare kids for the outside world and it’s important to teach them other tools to get by in life.

When people are asked what they want to become, a lot of people will answer with some sort of profession. But the older people get, the more they answer that they want to become happy. How great would it be if we could teach this to kids at a young age? In the video below, Merijn Ruis teaches Happiness to middle school kids using his self-invented method.
