HOW SACRED RITUALS CAN TRANSFORM YOUR DAILY LIFE

Starting your day with a simple five minute ritual can change the way you experience life over time.
Rituals put us in contact with the forces moving the universe, that energy that is within all life. We are said to have about 25,000 mornings as an adult. How will you start your day?  Will you start with sacredness, with a ritual that sets your day as an amazing opportunity to be alive and connect with other people and animals, an opportunity to express your creativity and enjoy this beautiful planet, or will you drag yourself out of bed going: “Oh God, another day of work!”
In essence a ritual is about bringing sacredness into your life, and about honouring something greater than you and I. It is about honouring the mystery, and the bringer of life in all things, from the flowers, to the trees, to the birds, the tiny caterpillar glistening on a fresh leaf, or the waking sun, and the moonlight. There is a divine force that moves through all things, like a river, enlivening all of life. It is the same force that moves the plant to flower, the wolf to howl, or lights up a baby’s face.

AMAZING NEW SOLUTION FOR THE HOMELESS AND REFUGEES …

One visionary female artist may have the answer …

Inspired by the plight of Syrian refugees unfolding on her doorstep in the Middle East, Abeer Seikaly set to work to find a way of helping.
The Jordanian architect, artist and designer created a beautiful and supremely practical housing solution, came up with a design prototype and won the international Lexus Design award.  Abeer Seikaly has been working on developing a prototype for four years. At this stage, she’s done a mock-up tent and is working right now on the second mock-up, which should be developed by next year. It will hopefully be a fully functioning prototype, which she plans to test on an expedition to the Mount Everest summit in 2018. To read more click here

WEEK TWO: Mediumship Development.

When most people think of the dead they think of haunted houses or cemeteries.
But in reality Patrick Swayze summed it up quite well in the movie Ghost. Discarnate people are very much alive and well, albeit living in a non-physical dimension. And there is an amazing eagerness that emanates from them whereby they wish to continue to interact with family and friends ‘left behind’. And fortunately with us humans there is a growing desire to learn how to connect and communicate with our passed over loved ones.
There is nothing more thrilling as a Medium than making a connection to the other side and having your evidence and information validated by your client. So, in this practical workshop Gabriel will be presenting exercises for you to tap into your Psychic and Mediumistic abilities. It will be thought provoking and interactive, as we further delve into your sixth sense.

In and Around the Academy with Ari Porter

Before we started the sound journey Rosemary reminded us that the quality of our thoughts had a major impact on the quality of our life. Even our positive affirmations will be overwhelmed if we lapse back into negative thoughts the rest of the time. I love it when synchronicities happen to reinforce a message that has been bought to our attention. And that days message from Abraham Hicks was :

_{“You’re picky about the car you drive. You’re picky about what you wear. You’re picky about what you put in your
mouth. We want you to be pickier about what you think”}

The sound can help clear our cells, so we have a clean page to start with. It is up to us to what we write on it.
Then the beautiful journey began, the sound of each artist flowing like waves over our consciousness
John started with the gentle hum of a Tibetan bell.
Ellie gave a beautiful personalised version of the mantra “Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu”.
Paulien followed with her monochord and chants, which bring a Native American connection to me.
Jewels with her crystal bowls, each one tuned to the vibration of a chakra.
Ellie returning with “Om Mani padmi Hum” accompanied by Joe with the deeper masculine tones
Chimes over our heads like drops of musical light
Paulien’s Tibetan bowls and tones leading us to another level
John’s signature Tibetan Gongs, waxing and waning, to the end of the Journey

Each night has its own feel and for me tonight had a gentle, caressing touch that left us feeling so loved.

Evidently it wasn’t just us that appreciated the night, as a clairvoyant friend who had come for the first time remarked on how many other extra dimensional visitors had been attracted to join us.
