Nancy Valentine Smith – Shaman, Shape-Shifter, Seer
Nancy Valentine Smith is always a popular drawcard at the Academy of Light. On the eve of this powerful October full moon, she talked to a packed audience about the importance of healing ourselves. It is essential, says Nancy – as we navigate the rapid changes Earth is going through – while we move in and out of different timelines.
Shaman, shape-shifter and seer, Nancy has the extraordinary gift of being able to cross into the spiritual realm, while being in the physical. She is also a remarkable healer and a pure channel for Mary Magdalene and Jeshua.
The evening began with Nancy talking about her journey to Avignon, France in 2018 – where she activated healing on the spiritual planes. She returned to France in September 2019 to visit the Cathar region – completing the work that began in 2015.
As a shaman, Nancy is able move through dark energies and dismantle matrixes that have been held for centuries. Her work involves visiting the lower astral planes to clear and release negative energies trapped in different realities.
While Nancy’s work in France helped to clear the Earth’s blocked lower energies, we can also help the planet to ascend by working on our own lower chakras.
Nancy emphasised the importance of clearing our blocked base and sacral chakras, which hold past life wounds from our male aspects -relating to anger and survival.
“Our lower chakras need to move into guru-ship and be honoured as the masters in the physical dimension. Too many spiritual seekers focus on the higher chakras, while ignoring their lower ones. The base and sacral chakras help us to manifest what we want.”
Nancy explained that from now until December 12, our male aspects will be triggered to resolve and heal unfinished business from our past.
“If our lower chakras are out of alignment, we can become easily addicted and distracted by our needs and wants. “
“What triggers us into fear is the illusion that we are just mortal.”

They have a combined experience of over 60 years of searching and work in spirituality. Lower chakra wounds can manifest physically as prostate, lower back pain, and digestive problems.
You can work on your chakras through any healing practices that you are drawn to- such as yoga, reiki or meditation.
Nancy advises that exercise, running and sweating helps to clear the chakras.
Releasing emotions is also healing for the chakras.
“Feel the emotions – the anger and grief. Don’t judge or project it out there. Judgement is disempowering.”
Swimming or bathing in salt water is healing for the sacral chakra, which is ruled by the element of water. Walking barefoot on the earth and grounding helps to balance the base chakra.
Healing can also occur by connecting to your family, learning about your ancestors and listening to your family stories. As we clear our lower chakras of guilt and shame, we can move from separation to connection.”
During the evening, Nancy channelled heart activations and light language healing for the group. We also did pair work that focused on connecting our hearts to our lower chakras while clearing any blockages and patterns of disempowerment.
