MEDITATION MADE EASY
There are many misconceptions about meditation that Tibetan Buddhist master Mingyur Rinpoche wants to set straight. The biggest one? You don’t have to quiet your mind for an extended period of time in order to reap the benefits.
You have the ability to engage in the practice anytime, anywhere. The key is focusing on what’s happening inside your head. Instead of trying to block your thoughts and emotions as you’re meditating, Rinpoche said that you should lean into what he calls your “monkey mind,” or the constant chattering in your head.
The best way to do this is through the simple habit of being aware of your breath as you breathe in and out, he explained. Even though thoughts might creep into your mind, you are still able to meditate. To watch more click here

“THE LANGUAGE OF POSSIBILITY”

The Possibility Project collaborates with slum communities in India to build health and well-being programs. Journeying into a community that on the surface is so disparate from their own. Kim and fellow school mum, Kath, gained a ‘language’ that joined them to something much greater than self.
Kim will lovingly share this language of possibility and explain how they have actively used it to join ‘worlds apart’.
Kim is particularly keen to faciliate this ‘Satsang’ in a way that the ordinary person is connected to their extraordinary self. Having previously taught economics for over twenty years Kim reasilied the need to change the language of ‘scarcity’, if collective problems were to be transformed. The evening will be an opportunity to see things differently. You will be opened to some of the simplist (cheapest and most abundant) ways to raise your consciousness so as to improve your own health and extraordinary being and the well-being of others.
The primary purpose of The Possibility Project is to facilitate a mindset that enables service in the ‘new economy’. We are guided by the writing of Rachel Naomi Remen in her beautiful manifesto on ‘helping, fixing or serving’. “Service is a relationship between equals, our service strengthens us as well as others’. Our engagement will also include a powerful meditation on using the language of possibilty to serve the greater good. Namaste.

MONDAY 18 JULY 2016 – TESLA METAMORPHOSIS
Presented by Anya Petrovic
Anya, as the founder of this modality, took us through a wonderfully-inspirational and fascinating Powerpoint slide presentation clearly explaining what this modality is and where it arose from.
In 2009, she received a message from Spirit : ”Tesla Healing…you need to reconstruct Tesla Healing” and recounted that on that day, she experienced 9 ‘coincidences’ all persistently directing her to research the work of the scientific genius Nikola Tesla of whom Sai Baba is reported to have once said: ” I have sent you an angel and his name is Nikola Tesla”. Anna hadn’t realised that her 18 years of training in Reiki and Reconnection Healing were to prepare her for this.
Tesla is said to have called this energy “non-hertzian” (NB in physics, frequencies are measured as so many beats/cycles per second: 1 cycle per second= 1 herz), and whilst most known energy sources diminish with distance, the opposite is true for Tesla energy. Also, the PIP camera developed by Dr Harry Oldfield has revealed that there are very different colours generated by this energy – revealing purple predominating in the auras of both practitioners and patients, which is a colour frequency band most commonly associated with an activated crown chakra. Orbs of light also manifest at Tesla Metamorphosis seminars – some visible to the naked eye, and also different colours spreading across the walls of the seminar room.
Anya reports that clients have ben healed of conditions such as AIDS, cancer, chronic fatigue syndrome, lupus, spinal injuries and even birth deformities.
She travels the world teaching Levels I,II and III of Tesla Metamorhosis.

HEALTH TIP – ADRENAL FATIGUE.

If you have had a high level of cortisol output for many, many years, your adrenal glands may not be able to stand the tension. In general terms, you ‘burn out’. Stiffness is a key sysmptom to adrenal fatigue. The fatigue you feel may make exercise the least appealing thing on the planet to you.
ADRENALIN AND CORTISOL – FRIEND OR FOE?
Cortisol is your long-term stress hormone.
In the right amount, cortisol is not only an anti-inflammatory, it also buffers the effect of insulin, meaning that optimum amounts help you continue to burn body fat for energy while also maintaining stable – as opposed to rapidly fluctuating blood sugar levels. Normally cortisol levels change during the day. It is designed to be high (let us say 25 units) in the morning – giving you that bounce you need to get out of bed, full of energy and vitality. In the evening (10pm) it is optimum level is around 2 units.
As a stress response continues, the effect on the body begins to change. The evening levels might spike again making it hard to get to sleep. It can play havoc with sleeping patterns. But over time, the catabolic signaling of cortisol itself may have broken some of your muscles down, so now there is less space for glucose storage, so some of the blood glucose makes body fat. Keeping the glucose level of the blood within the normal, safe range is of more importance to your body than whether you have wobbly bits around you middle. This is also the process through which long-term stress can lead to Type 2 diabetes. (More about Insulin page 186) Also more cortisol means a slower metabolism.
