Join us for this relaxing and rejuvenating Sound Event with Jewels Wakeman on Crystal Bowls, Marc Kundalini on Didge and Paulien Gort on Shaman Drum, Monochord, Alchemy Crystal Bowls and Tibetan singing Bowls. Paulien will also bring her Neptune Gong which helps to dissolve old patterns to make room for the new. It’s the mystic, the visionary and represents unity consciousness.
Together we will create a beautiful soundscape for you making you float away into different realms and facilitating healing on every level. In and Around the Academy with Ari Porter
What a wonderful example of complementary energies, with Shelley and Jason connecting at both a personal and energetic level to bring through their powerful combined healing therapy. Each shared their background journeys which lead to their combining their gifts and some dramatic examples of how people had experienced healing through their work. Shelley brought the nurturing of the feminine with Polarity therapy, which included crystals, essences, touch and reflexology. She also reminded us of the importance of having a daily practice where we can connect to the other spiritual planes. For many sound was a key, whether it is a song, mantra or tone.
Jason brought the earth medicine of inherited Kurrudji (traditional Aboriginal) healing practices which included clearing with feathers and stones. He reminded us of the importance of connecting to Mother Earth and how we heal both the Earth and ourselves when we consciously connect with loving intent. It was also wonderful to hear that Jason had never met Gerry Bostock the aboriginal healer, but Gerry is an important guide for him. Gerry was a dear friend of several people associated with AOL and it is so pleasing that his work is being continued and shared.
They had prepared a beautiful bed, adorned with crystals and gum leaves, representing both aspects of their therapies. A lucky volunteer beat all others to the table to experience a shortened demonstration.
You could feel the difference in the energies as they were being applied and our volunteer arose smiling and refreshed at the end of the session.. Shelley and Jason will be back to share more with us next week, and if you would like to know more about their work please visit divinebalance.com.au
We concluded the night with a beautiful song, courtesy of Rob Henry & Debbie from Kundalini Yoga, that we would like to repeat again next week when more people have a chance to learn the words :

Ancient Whale Dreaming Ceremony
Join us for a traditional Aboriginal dawn ceremony at Balmoral, celebrating the rising of Grandfather (the Sun) and the singing up of Guruwal (the Whale).
The ceremony will be led by Yuin elder Uncle Max ‘Dulamunmun’ Harrison. The Whale Dreaming is for the safe passage of whales that are migrating south, down the NSW coastline, with their young.

Grail Haven bottled water has changed. It is no longer available in its present form. Should you want this unique and precious water there are two ways to obtain it. One is to make a pilgrimage to Mt Tamborine and collect the water. The other is to courier or post bottles to us to fill and we send them back to you. For instance, Ian White of the Australian Bush Flower Essences couriers amber glass bottles, we hand fill them and they are couriered back to him. This way you have the water straight from the springs as ‘raw’. For this we ask for a donation to the Grail Haven Not for Profit Fellowship. This money assists in maintaining Grail Haven as a place of beauty, peace, retreat and healing. Please contact us to order the water, the website no longer takes orders.
