Shamanic healer and teacher Mark Steinward joined us on Zoom, creating a sacred online space and guiding us through a powerful journey to meet our Spirit Guides.
Despite a few technological glitches at the beginning, our Zoom session soon transformed into a deep shamanic experience, proving that distance does not affect energy work.
Mark began the evening by removing group fears and unwanted energies from our energy field. He then taught us how to connect with our own spirit guides.
“We need to learn to become clear conduits for our guides. The more inner work you do, the easier it is to have a clear connection with your guides.”
“At the same time, we also need to be aware that not all guides have our best interests at heart.”
Mark explained that it is important to call in the guides who love you unconditionally. You can do this by asking three times “Do you love me unconditionally? The answer needs to be ‘yes’ three times if it is a genuine guide. “
Mark then guided us on a shamanic journey to help us connect with our own guides.
Initially, I connected to a fairy’s energy but suddenly I felt the presence of a long haired Native American Indian, who said his name was Red Chief. He had his hands crossed and he had a black tattoo in the shape of a leaf on his upper arm. He had a stocky solid body, strong facial features and a friendly smile on his face. I am not usually a visual person, so I was surprised that his image was so clearly etched on my mind.
Mark guided us to ask for messages from our guides and to journal the answers. I received a few messages. Do what brings you joy. Write daily and the answers will come. Face your shadows (fears) and be willing to be vulnerable. Show your weaknesses. Speak your truth. Be humble and stop protecting yourself.
When we asked our guides how to best navigate these unpredictable times, my guide’s response was to stay calm, be open to new experiences, and find beauty in every situation.
Some participants shared their guides’ messages. One of the messages was to expand, not contract and to breathe into the areas of the body that are tight.
Mark started working with his own spirit guides many years ago, after a visit to a psychic for a reading.
Over a period of ten years, he was guided to do deep inner work. He continues to receive insights from his spirit guides, which have transformed his life.
Mark has been teaching shamanic healing for 15 years, and founded the school One Tribe Healing in Perth. However, he regularly comes to Sydney to run workshops and retreats.
