Last week we had the great article on Metatrons Cube by Simone Mathews this week we thought we would continue the sacred geometry/saced symbols theme and suggest you watch a video with some amazing images on spirals. They can be seen in the nature, on walls with ancient carvings, in the universe, in our body and more. Sunflowers and Radio Activity
Scientists in Japan and elsewhere have begun testing the effectiveness of sunflowers in reducing radiation levels. Grown near Chernobyl after the 1986 nuclear disaster, sunflowers were found to have absorbed radioactive cesium and strontium with their roots. One Japanese villager whose home is near a radio active hotspot found that sunflowers helped reduce radiation to levels well below government safety recommendations.
When 80,000 people had to abandon their homes after the Fukushima nuclear disaster in Japan, Buddhist monks took to planting and distributing sunflowers in an effort to both lift spirits and lighten the radiation impact. In and Around the Academy

I am noticing more and more that people are labelling themselves as spiritual and their friends and family as not. It is causing separation. I do know what they mean and that is their talk and interests are different to their family. The ‘Spiritual’ ones are interested in energy and its many forms such as crystal, flower essences, energy healing, sacred geometry to name a few and this conversation means nothing at all to their friends. To me it would be the same as a concert pianist being friends with a construction worker – they would have very little in common to communicate with. It is not that one is better than the other. Everyone is spiritual, how could they not be when they have been made in the image of God. But some of us are interested in exploring that image because we recognise that is what we came here to do. Others have decided that it is not right for them at this time. There is no judgement.
It is very important that as we practice going within and being more aware that we do not judge others. This is one wonderful thing about the Academy of Light. It is a place of non judgement. We meet each Monday Night and rest in the energy of friendship, love and community.

HEALTH – EXCESS ACID WASTE
Excess acid waste is the cause of many ailments. If your diet is largely composed of meats, fish, cheeses, breads, white flour foods, white sugar foods, take-aways, chocolate, coffee, wine, and beer, you may suffer from acidic complaints.
Initial symptoms of over-acidity include: Acne, agitation, bloating, chemical sensitivities to odours and gas heat, cold hands and feet, constipation, diarrhoea, dizziness, excess mucus (stuffiness, food allergies, heartburn, hot urine, hyperactivity, indigestion, irregular heartbeat, joint pains that travel, lack of sex drive, low energy, metallic taste in mouth, muscular pain, panic attacks, P.M.T. rapid heartbeat, rapid panting breath, white-coated tongue. It can also cause headaches, insomnia and depression.
The Antidote to Excess Acidity is Alkaline-Forming Foods.
If your body is showing symptoms of over-acidity you can increase the amount of alkaline-forming foods (most fruits and vegetables). All ripe fruit except cranberries, blueberries, plums and prunes are alkalizing to different degrees. Alkalinity depends on natural sugar and mineral content – ripe fruit and organic produce have more of these elements. Building alkaline reserves is the key to stable health, strong bones and good teeth.
