Mina Bissell: Experiments that point to a new understanding of cancer
For decades, researcher Mina Bissell pursued a revolutionary idea — that a cancer cell doesn’t automatically become a tumor, but rather, depends on surrounding cells (its microenvironment) for cues on how to develop. She shares the two key experiments that proved the prevailing wisdom about cancer growth was wrong. Click here to view.
A turning point in Bruce Lipton’s career was when he found the membrane and not the nucleus held the emotions and information for the cells. In other words it was the environment the cell lived in. Elaine Croker’s Prime Tuning of Cells talks about the skin not just being the skin of the outer physical body but the skin of the cells that needs to be healthy and peaceful and not holding stressful emotions.
If the above is all true then Spirituality is on the right track when we focus on clearing the past, emotions, do gratitude and establish peace in our bodies to create health. If you needed more proof, then this is it – get to it, clear those cells!!!

HEALTH TIP – CLEAR YOUR INNER ENVIRONMENT.
It seems that science is discovering that emotions are stored in the membrane of your cells. (See the Youtube above and listen to what Mina Bissell has to say – it is awesome). We are particular about the environment we live in, but what about our cells. Do they live in stress, anger, resentment, worry, guilt and disappointment? Are you always looking forward to a time when you can be happy? Where has your peace gone?
To be well, we need to be as fussy about our internal environment as our external. The cells of our body need to be clear and clean. Some people are suggesting there is a link between emotions and dis-ease, particularly cancer. So-
1. Let the past go and make room for a new future. A new future cannot come whilst all the cells are full with emotions. Ask to release all the emotions and thoughts that no longer serve you.
2. Forgive yourself and others. Be grateful for what the experience has taught you, be grateful for your growth.
3. Notice whenever you think or curse something you have to do and don’t want to do it and change it into a positive. For example, if you don’t want to cook the dinner, change the thought into “I am glad that we have food to cook.” as so many people in this world haven’t.
4. When showering, remember to visualize that your shower is white light and let the light wash you internally. Notice how great you feel after washing yourself internally (that means all of your major organs) with white light.
5. On waking, drink a glass of warm water and ask the Angel of Water to wash last night’s energy away. This will give you a wonderful start to the day.
One of the main focuses of the Academy is to keep your energy high – to assist you in finding the thoughts that are blocking you from living in Peace and Harmony – in the Academy’s bookshop I found a book called Live the Life you Long For by Annie Evans. It is amazing – although I have been a Spiritual Healer for over 20 years, I am learning so much from it. Annie healed herself from cancer – to do it she had to understand what her body was telling her.

WELCOME TO THE NEW FACE OF THE ACADEMY: ACADEMY OF LIGHT INC.
The Academy has just entered an exciting new phase with the formation of a Committee to oversee its management into the future. This Committee of 7 has recently registered the Academy as an Incorporated Association under the new name of ‘Academy of Light Incorporated’ with a Constitution enshrining aspirational objectives.
Some of these ‘Objects’ of the Constitution are
(i) To maintain a non-denominational organisation for the integration of a healthy body, mind and spirit focused on raising conscious awareness.
(ii) To promote change, dialogue and scholarship within the national and international community on health and spiritual principles.
(iii) To introduce people to meditation and mindfulness and to assist in reducing stress and improve self-awareness and well-being.
The Constitution also contains within it the original Values of the Academy including One Spirit- Diverse Voices, The only Authority is One’s Heart, Cooperation not Competition.
And welcome to the faces of the Committee: Warren Mitchell (President), Terri Hills (Treasurer), Peggy Stevens (Secretary), John Butterworth (Vice-President & Public Officer), Rosemary Butterworth, Millie Morton and Anne Peckham. The broader input of the committee provides a new vitality and inspired direction for the ongoing growth of the Academy’s activities.

CAN MY SPIRITUAL JOURNEY CAN HELP YOU?
Michelle Bowen
My name is Michelle Bowen. I am a Medical Intuitive, Kinesiologist, Reiki Master, ThetaHealing Master and teacher. I also work as a Psychic among other things. I am delighted to have been invited to speak at the Academy.
My journey – I was born with profound abilities into a family with psychic and healing ability and could see into the body as a child. My life has led me down many paths and through many experiences, both positive and the negative including violence, abuse, divorce, loss of children and loved ones, illness including fybromyalgia, pluerisy, pnuemonia, anxiety, depression, OCD, dyslexia, loved ones with serious drug issues and personality disorders and personally, several serious injuries. Also twice losing my home to fire. I have raised five intuitive children alone and now have four grandchildren.
I have learned how to overcome and heal these things in my life and others.
Each soul chooses when to be born, the parents it will have, the experiences it will draw in each life and the planets it will be born under. Anyone who is on the this planet in this lifetime came in to resolve enormous things. Some will meet the challenge…some will not. Are you equipped? Would you like to be able to clear and resolve issues and move forward without them? Live without the residue constantly coming in to overwhelm you?
I have come to realise that in this lifetime that I came to learn by way of experience to understand the things I was to resolve on a ancestral and history level, soul contracts, past life issues including those in religion and as a healer. Also many issues which blocked me from having lasting relationships and a release from abusive cycles. I also chose to come in and resolve these for my entire genetic line..
I have looked at many different modalities of healing. My psychic ability and a clear connection with Universal collective has always guided me. I have gradually drawn on my strength, learned how to utilise it, expand and refine my ability and how to best help others by what I have learned. I have developed powerful methods to assist people to clear deep issues and also how to teach them to heal and resolve issues and blocks for themselves.
I teach and heal from a place of experience, with love, compassion, and a true sense that anything is resolvable.
I am looking forward to meeting you all, speaking and assisting you on the 30th July.

A JOURNEY INTO THE AMAZON

Christina only arrives back later this week. She brings with her the excitement, knowledge and energy from the Amazon.
Christina Says “A group of 6 Australians, a survival guide, and 4 indigenous guides went into the the Amazon for 10 days camping Indian style learning about the master trees. Some trees were about 900 years old and we were learning about their medicines, doing ceremony, tracking jaguars. We camped where no humans go with anacondas, alligators, monkeys etc learning survival skills.
I will also speak about my Amazon adventure with a shaman and his wife who is Shipibo ( But indigenous from Iquitos Peru). It was truly an adventure of a lifetime testing me both spiritually, physically and mentally. I will touch on Ayawoscha. Such powerful medicine that needs to be respected.”

LABYRINTH WALK.
Join us at 6pm on Sunday, 5th August at the Mosman Art Gallery, to walk a canvas replica of the medieval Chartres labyrinth. This event will be very special as we will be joined by Elizabeth Grace who will talk about sacred geometry and the labyrinth and you will have the opportunity to walk the labyrinth while contemplating a card from the set of 99 sacred geometry mandalas that Elizabeth has created.
